Why pay for online video conference… when a free solution available

So far you have used Yahoo chat or Google Chat service for online conversation between your friend circle and even today almost each of us have used them. But have anyone of thought about how good it will be when we can talk each other as we are face to face yes i am talking of video conferencing and that’s also free of cost. Is it not amazing while listening and this is also a fact mos of the service which are providing video conferencing are free only for conversation between two people, but it becomes a paid service when you want to increase your circle. But now i have just found a video conferencing tool which has past all these limitations and it is called…   TokBox which just only restricts you to your own bandwidth.

When you begin a videoconference in TokBox, you can automatically add contacts who are on AIM, Yahoo Messenger and other supported services.

Even better, however, your contacts can join the videoconference in a web browser, just by following a URL. They don’t need to install an application, and the TokBox website automatically interfaces with each PC’s webcam. Just start a conference, and click invite then share link to get the URL.

Formatting to NTFS or FAT: Which one is the right choice…

Has any one  of you ever confused while installing Windows XP on a new drive or need to format an old one but got stuck at the formatting options in the Xp setup disk. With the choices NTFS or Fat 32 file system…. you are not sure which one to choose. This is when you need some basic facts about both of the files system. If you are little bit familiar with windows environment from its oldy days say at the time of windows 95 or earlier then may be you have heard of Fat16 (File allocation table) but now consider that old day with today when you have large Hard disk capacity, more powerful processing units and everything that has been changed a lot. At the old days when fat 16 was developed (in 1981) it was only designed to handle floppy-disk and its extension fat32 was introduced with windows 98 was meant only to handle Hard-disk with a low capacity. Now we Windows XP which gives us option to decide between Fat or NTFS so which one to choose and even in the case when we don’t know much about this new file system. So let me tell you as i have already  that Fat system for low hard disk space, For files above 4gb, and hard disks above 32gb, go for NTFS. Why….

The NTFS file system, introduced with first version of Windows NT, is a completely different file system from FAT. It provides for greatly increased security, file–by–file compression, quotas, and even encryption. It is the default file system for new installations of Windows XP, and if you’re doing an upgrade from a previous version of Windows, you’ll be asked if you want to convert your existing file systems to NTFS. Don’t worry. If you’ve already upgraded to Windows XP and didn’t do the conversion then, it’s not a problem. You can convert FAT16 or FAT32 volumes to NTFS at any point. Just remember that you can’t easily go back to FAT or FAT32 (without reformatting the drive or partition), not that I think you’ll want to.

But here you should note if you wish to have multiple operating system say Windows 98 and windows Xp then you should choose multiple file system or even if you have a case to set your drive where you don’t know which one operating you will have then i would must say that it will be a better choice to have multiple file system and file saved on the Fat file system.
