How to remove or install add-ons(plug-ins) in Mozilla Firefox?
For installing plugins or addons in version of Mozilla Firefox first look for the extension of the plug-in it should be *.xpi, if so, simply drag the file holding right button of the mouse and drop it anywhere on the open Mozilla Firefox window. This should prompt with an installer window to install the selected plugin. Here you can also view the installed plug in list. And if your browser prompt for the restart. Restart it and your plug in will be installed.
Though, here you have installed it but what if, you want to remove it from the system go to Tools >Add on and there you can see the whole list. Remove which ever option you want by clicking on the plugins. Once you click on, you will see the options disable or uninstall. Disable for temporarily disabling it while uninstall is to remove for forever.

We hear how good Firefox is, and I agree, it is good … but is there any way to turn off the prompting to install additional plugs ins that pops up almost everytime I use Firefox??? It’s really very irritating! Any ideas what how this can be done? That’s the one and only thing I don’t like about Firefox…
Hi Kuya
For permanently disable updates for plugin visit to the Tools > Options. From the resulting popup look for advanced tab and then update section there you will find the desired option..
Hope it will solve the problem….
