These days it has became very popular to shorten the long URl’s of the web address for several sites where many of us upload our videos, pictures or any other stuffs. This is because when we upload such stuffs to any sharing sites due to overwhelming number of users it has becomes a necessity to have long url’s. But now, shortening of web address is sometimes used by the spammers to promote any link or products and as we are not able to find where these links will divert us, very likely that we click on them. This habit sometimes cause us inconvenience.

But now this will not cause any problem to you as there is sits that can tell you where this short link, whether it is from twitter, tinyurl or any other URl shortening site,  will divert you. For this purpose you only have to visit the link http://longurl.org/ and insert the suspicious short url address and it will show the full address of web page with a small preview. If you are a cautious web surfer then this site is really helpful to you as it can be used to stop malware, spyware or spams send to you.

Reliance Mobile and AajTak tie-up…. for mms based news alerts on mobile..

reliance-news.jpgThis time is really a hi-tek time as every corporates are trying to offer something new to their subscribers, as it was announced yesterday by the Reliance Communication that they have tied a new alliance with Aajtak to offer MMS-based news to their subscribers. Both the CDMA and GSM subscribers can have this offer in which news alerts related to national, international, business, sports, entertainment twice daily on a monthly rental of only Rs. 30. This offer is also available to post-paid customers and the rental will be added to their bills.

For subscription, one only need to send a sms as MSUBN to 52424.  Mr Krishna Durba, Head – VAS, Reliance Communications said  “We have seen large demand for news on the move. Subscribers want to be alerted on the breaking news. This service will ensure excellent news coverage with multimedia pictures & video clips.”

Though, it seems good but the center of criticism is number of massages in a day this should have to be increased.
