Hard to remember long URL address, make it tiny…..

Sometimes we caught in a very unusual problem like remembering or writing long URL’s of our uploaded videos, pictures or any other site on which we have shared stuffs like Youtube.com, Flickr.com, Rapidshare.com etc. And each time when we send or see this long url’s we must have thought isn’t there a way to make them short so that it looks impressive to remember or to write. In some cases we also need to hide the link of the main page where this directs and wants another link  through which we can direct any link to the page we wish. So now don’t worry there are sites which serves the same purpose for us by making the long url’s to very short and hiding the original link to which it refers.

One site which i have found “http://www.tinyurl.com” solves the matter of shortening the long URL’s. There only you need to visit the page and simply point the desired web address to make it short or hide its original address and with in no minute you will be provided with a new url which always anytime will prompt to your desired web address. From this site you can also create you own custom links also.

In the first input-box as shown above write down you web url which you want to make short and in the next box enter the desired keywords if any and click the button given and with in no minute you will be shown with the results.

Other than from Tinyurl.com there are also several other sites which serves the same purpose like is.gd, ping.fm, ur1.ca, bit.ly, snipurl.com, tweetburner.com, metamark.net, url.ie, x.se, 6url.com, yep.it, piurl.com etc…..
