Google took the charm against Microsoft’s Bing with its WAVE

Published by rakeshb03 under Google News Edit This

In the corporate area yesterday was seem as a big day for Microsoft and Google both are the major players one in software and another in online search, but the result looks that Google has tackle all the credits in media and news over Microsoft. For Microsoft it was a day to announce its so called decision making search engine Bing but the things never go as these were planned as later it was also found in Sydeny Google was also unveiling its new combined platform WAVE.

But here if we talk about the new race of search engine competition there is no dought Google is the supreme, and this is why Microsoft have to launch something new to web surfers. And this result in the announcement  of Bing. According to Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer, this new search engine will replace the older version of Live search and will have the ability to show the most relevant results with the most relevant link on the top with its decision making added feature. It has several other features like Instant Answer for one click access, deep links, Bing Maps, and Bing travel rate key. For Hotel and accommodation inquiry comparison of the Hotel’s the location, price and amenities will be displayed in color coded manner.

Now what it seems that the search engine war has sparked once again as some time ago a new entry of  Wolfram Alpha was also sought and Google already claiming its search engine being smarter and now Microsoft Bing. Here we should also have a note that Yahoo is also mashing up social network based search information into its search engine.

For detailed overview and deeper understanding of features of Bing, head to Microsoft’s Interactive guide.

Google Wave : Merging email, live chat, communication sharing & everyting we can think of..

Published by rakeshb03 under Google News Edit This

Google, the us  based search engine giant has recently previewed a new technology named as “Wave” combining everything we do online like chatting, e-mailing, event planning, document sharing and anything else we can think of… though currently not available to public but the API’s available to developers to work with.

According to the post on official Google blog  Wave have been designed to bring all the real life form of communication (e-mail, live chat, document sharing) on one platform where all the invited parties can participate to insert their views and elements they owned or want to share like photos, rich text, feeds, anything or discuss any issues. This new service as it allows both collaboration and communication can be used for services like quick massaging and in any case if you missed any part or what to know what happened to other collaborators on your network you can rewind all enabling you to have everything in your control.

With this service Google is looking to change the way we use Internet. On its preview on Thursday it was looking an attractive work and quite ambitious and sure it will replace some of our uses for a e-mail. As of now Google has not set any deadline of its public release but a  set of APIs is available to developers and they are quite exited to find them… and if any one is looking for more info about those API’s can reach at Google Wave Developer Blog, where it has been discussed how it can be used.Wave also makes use of the Google Wave Federation Protocol, allowing developers to create self-hosted instances of Wave that can communicate with each other over an open protocol without depending on Google’s servers. So for now it has only previews but  interested developers can request access to a Wave Sandbox if they want to work on any projects in the meantime, but for all of us we can only sit and relax and wait to hear any new details published.
