Apply the TCP/IP patch to increase your Internet Speed

Published by rakeshb03 under Hacking Tips Edit This

Do you use Internet a  lot and visits or open several pages very often in a single given time and found your connection speed decreasing slowly with the time passed and sometimes the following error displayed.

EventID 4226: TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connects attempts.

This happens because Microsoft has only allowed a maximum of 10 half open connection at a time to tighten its security feature to slowdown spreading of Internet worms. This is case speed is slowed when we use bittorrent or peer to Peer applications which requires several connections(peers) for a speedy downloading. But there is way through which you can patch the Windows TCP/IP system driver file using this small application “The patch of TCPIP.sys“.

Only you have to do is download the application from the link here, run it and set the limit to maximum of 256 or more and feel the difference…..
