google-spy.jpg, google indiaGoogle a mass success all over the world is far ahead from its major rivlas like Microsoft and Yahoo, is now eying to capture the Indian Market. As everyone knows over 95% earnings it receives is from online advertisements which are displayed while we search any term on Google Search Engine. And as i have earlier said it is now owing its eye on India but here in India more than half of its online users remains offline most of the time. So what will Google Do to tackle this situation.. According to Google - It is centering its plan on three aspects as Individual Users and advertisers with a mix strategy of Online offline and mobile offerings. Google has very clear intention that still it is looking on variety of factors but its search criteria will be on the top line also in India and it will count as a major shares for its revenues.
Shailesh Rao Google India managing director said “We have a leadership position in the search space in India too, Besides, we operate four of the 10 popular websites in India.”
But what it seems that if Google only complies only to online search capacity it goal to build a successful base in India will not be fulfilled if it ignore the potentials of Mobile Users in India, though, Google is aware of this and it was cleared by Google India Country Head Vinay Goel. As the statics says there are around 55.5 million Internet users are accounted as compared to 376 million mobile subscribers, so this is the factor which forced Google to provide search engine available to mobiles also and it looking a significant surge in mobile search users in 2009.
After the search facility it also have a plans to made Orkut and Google maps available to Mobile Phones.
And the Other factor on which Google is seems to focus is the Voice Factor, Goel says on this issue “We believe that users graduate from plain voice search to an SMS-based one and finally to Internet-based search, which is our goal. The advent of 3G (and with it speedier broadband) will only help our cause.”

Though, we already can say Google is sure a success in metropolitan cities in India but for overall success it should have to consider on a factor of education available in rural areas if it can helps regional players to become national by educating them on the importance of the Internet then there is no doubt in its success.
