Internet Explorer 8 - Will it meet the expectations!!!!

internet-explorer.pngNow with already we have seen a lot of browser wars among the biggest players in the Market as Mozilla FireFox latest updates, Google also cashing their shares with its Google Chrome and now we have the latest update of Internet explorer - ready to download from the Internet Explorer Download Page today. But this time Microsoft has said it has learned from its previous experiences as for Internet Explorer 7 it has released some three years ago and took almost two years to be fully functionable. Now With the release of IE8 Microsoft thinks things will be different.
Internet Explorer 8 is said to be more secure than its predecessor having its phishing filter shifted to malware giving its user a more secure presence. Now you can find a new feature in which you can bookmark only a piece of a website avoiding the whole website to be loaded and a new accelerators to get your URl’s into a new tab even without copying and pasting the url into the address bar.

But as Microsoft is heavily bloating its new browsers but major organisations and developers are still not in a favoring mood to support it. BBC CNN and Facebook are not supporting IE8 and some of others are heavily impressed with the Google’s Chrome and even they prefer Apple’s Safari. Some sites like Yahoo Mail is experiencing some hidden problems when it need to print some specific pages.
Although it has support to all websites but it has categorized sites having the proper taging those sites which haven’t a proper tagging inserting in their codes will not render properly and will be viewed as IE8’s “non standards compatibles View Mode”. This is why a bigger numbers of developers are keeping themselves away from this new thing.

Now let we look at the add on feature that Microsoft said to given with in this new release the ability to create Add-ons to better optimize and enhance the function-ability but there is a lot suspicion in the market as no on is sure when and why Microsoft dump any feature with its application — No One knows….
It wouldn’t be the first time Microsoft’s pulled features after an initial big play or tinkered with a roadmap to kill a feature that people had committed to. Look at Ultimate Extras in Windows Vista and adCenter analytics.

Now if you look at the claims made by Microsoft it is said to be the faster than its rival browsers and is more secure because of its Malware sites but is up to us who will finally decide which is the best and with in very short period of time all of us will know?
What do you think?
