asus-motherboard.jpgASUS the remarkable name in manufacturing  PC motherboards has yesterday launched a new M4 series Motherboards. This motherboard is said to be fully supported for the next generation AM3 processors. As AM3 processors are capable to support DDR 3 2000MHz memory speed so ASUS realizing the need of a motherboard that  support DDR 3 technology. The main feature of the new released motherboard is its 8-phase power design, which will result in a superb performance, unleashing the AM3 processors full potential, though, with an 91 percent power efficiency.

Vinay Shetty  Country Head, ASUS India said “The ASUS M4 Series motherboards are high performance motherboards aimed at achieving unprecedented performance benchmarks. This motherboard is designed for advanced overclocking and recently an overclockers team from Finland set the new World Record of 3DMark06 and CPU-Z scores with AMD Phenom II and ASUS M4A79T Deluxe” He added further about company strengths and capabilities as “The M4 series of motherboards will further strengthen our position as market leaders in the motherboard segment and provide our customers with a high end solution for their advanced computing needs.”

This speed ASUS is claiming is based on its overclocking utility  installed in this motherboard through a user can easily overclock and overvoltage the new processors thus gaining full performance,  and new computing experience. This will bring users to opt for a better choice for AM3 processors usage. The overvoltage produced is controlled by its 8-phase power design which have an additional one to two power phases responsible for CPU embedded memory and HT controller, thus insuring the delivery of proper voltage and optimized performance. This also ensure the more stable operations and longer lifespan of AM3 processors (ASUS has blurb as it utilize  5000-hour long lifespan at 105º working temperatures).
