What slowdown? India reckoning 15 million mobile subscribers in JAN
The telecom growth story in India is on a new high as the country witnessed addition of 15 million new mobile subscriber additions in the month of January. The company’s telecom services subscriber base has now crossed the 400 million mark. Making India as the World’s fastest growing market in the world. The 15 Million Growth in Jan is the biggest monthly growth so far according to government data summary released.
With this growth the country’s tele-density now stands at 34.5 percent. The wireless subscriber base stands at 362.3 million and account for 91 percent of the country’s total telecom services subscriber base. The wireline segment however declined by 0.15 million to reach 37.75 million.
