Now Adobe Pdf is on handsets….Mobiles
With the Adobe’s Portable Document Format (PDF) being very popular among the IT users as almost every company providing their documents in PDF’s. The Adobe corporation has moved a step ahead with the announcement of the availability of new Adobe Reader Mobile SDK. With this software development kit mobile manufacturer companies can deliver handsets models that will be capable of easy downloads and management of PDF document. With this enhancement mobiles can display PDF content and e-books.
At this occasion Kevin M. Lynch, vice president of Acrobat from Adobe reveals “With Adobe Reader Mobile SDK, Adobe is expanding the reach of PDF content, making it easier for mobile users to engage with rich digital publication on the go. Consumers are demanding content that looks great on a small screen and publishers want to ensure a viewing experience that enhances their brand and, where appropriate, protects their content. This new software engine delivers on both exceptions. “
With this launch a lot of companies already shows their interests to integrates this in their handhold device. Among those companies Bookeen, iRex Technologies, Lexcycle, Plastic Logic, Polymer Vision Ltd., and Spring Design are some of the major players. Although Sony has already implemented this engine into their Reader Digital Book.
