windows-7.jpgToady Microsoft has placed a closed tag on downloads of Windows 7, successor to Windows Vista. The webpage which providing the download now says : ” We are sorry, but downloads are no longer available. If your download was interrupted, you can still finish it.”

Despite Microsoft having a closed tag on its door Windows 7 but those who have already downloaded but still hasn’t registered their copy, it eagerly waiting its testers to activate their copies. Earlier Microsoft has planned to offer 2.5 million downloads of the Windows 7 beta version but when it found that their servers were halted due to sever loads, Microsoft was forced to set a deadline to finish all downloads in progress till 12th if February. This may be seen as massive success for this release but Microsoft is still decided to take its time to make this version error free and didn’t disclosing its scheduled release. But what experts are expecting its should be around early in 2010 or near October 2009. The earlier the better.

So its seems now that the countdown has begun for release for Windows 7 what is new in this release:

The main change that it seems to have looking on its beta release on behalf Windows Vista as vista was supposed to gobbled up all the system resources Windows 7 is seems to a lot lighter in terms of hardware and comes with some cool graphical stuff turned off when you are fire it up.

Have you tried out the beta? Share your thoughts with us over in the forums.
