Google Earth goes deeper in the Ocean to reveal it
Last Monday Google has launched the latest version 5.0 of it’s much appreciated and popular software GOOGLE EARTH which has already entertained and educated a lot from its aerial view of the earth. But this released version you can dive into sea, which is capable of showing you the satellite imagery, photos, and video’s of the planet’s ocean.
When first time Google Earth Was launched in 2005, a lot of people argument why we have not rendering of sea floors in 3D as all the surface we saw have been rendered as 3 dimensional. At that time it was excused as 3D model of Google Earth is not allowing sub surface rendering, But with this release those complaint should have to come an end as Google Earth is now capable of Sub-surface rendering. In the latest version it also offers a virtual drive beneath the waves, allowing a user togo through ocean beds, marine life, and ship wreckage through 20 “layers of Information”. However it was said by a Google Officials that currently the details submitted in this release is very limited but very soon we hope that several information will be added by conservationists, institutions and individuals users.
In this version several place-marks were added for several locations with in the sea which have additional photos, details or video related to that particular locations and a lot more will be updated soon. Yet Google has not reveled the cost which has been used to develop this software but what they acknowledged is “It is designed to help to drive web usage and they have used a share of money by received bu the advertisers over the internet.
Other features that are added into this new release is a three dimensional imagery of Mars - The red Planet and a Virtual Time Travel which would make an user to figure out the major building structures completed day by day. You can download this by visiting the Google Web site.
