Laptop Priced for $10 : You have to believe it!!!!!
Does anyone believe a Laptop Prototype having an extensible capacity of Up to 2 gb ram at a price for only $10 ( In Indian Rupess only 500 ) but it going to be true at Tirupati on February 3, when it will be first displayed at the launch of National mission of Education through Information Technology.
This project was first came into sight when MIT’s Nicholas Negroponte launched its Laptop wroth $100. At that time MIT’s project was much appreciated but later it was found by the HRD ministry that it is quite expansive because of hidden cost thus making it for around $200. To resolve this issue, students from Vellore Institute of Technology, scientist from Indian Institute of Science, IIT Madras and some PSU like Semiconductor Complex joined hands together. This joint venture has come to finish his work and in the next we all are going to have a first look of this Laptop coming out from the paper design work.
“At its invention stage it costs around $20 but with mass production it cost must slope down ” said by R. P. Agarwal, Secretary higher education said.
So let all us wait till February 3 when it was scheduled to launch, Let’s see what the capabilities does it have towards it much hype to revolutionize e-literacy.
