The Griffin technology has recently entered into the field of iPhone Softwares and introduced its first as iTalk recorder which is quite impressive. This tool enables you to record a meeting or interviews pr any memorable moments using iPhone’s built in microphone. This can also be used with 2G iPod touch but for this you need an external headset with a microphone, Griffin also provide these compitable devices of their own.

This software has very simple and straight forward option to make recording in three quality mode options to choose in Good, Better or Best. The recording is limited the available space on the iPhone and when recoding it constantly shows the current recording time and remaining time. You can provide the file name at any time you wish before or after the recording. When we talk about the space it used for recording it uses a slight over 1.2mb for a one minute iTalk. This is also have a very user convenient user interface meaning it can auto rotate 180 degrees to view the screen properly even when it is up-side down.

You can use iTalk Sync which is provided by the company to transfer files on the wireless connections which is quite very fast and it also is capable of sending multiple files via email. But for its first release it also has some drawback feature like it requires that your iPhone region must be set to USA in order to save recording but what Griffin said it will be fixed very shortly, or may be by the time you are reading this article this has been fixed. Currently it has standard (which is free to use ) and premium version which has a slight fee US$5.
