Increase productivity on CorelDraw — Using CorelDraw Macros

Published by rakeshb03 at 3:37 pm under Corel Draw Tips Edit This

Working on any software which support “Visual Basic application for windows” - A programming language from Microsoft, can be made very easy by using macros. But first of all you should know what a macro is? Macros are a series of recorded step during a task performed by the application which can be repeatedly played for the same work like batch processing for opening and saving a file or automated search of text with in a file or for more complex works (But you should aware that for more complex works through macro needs more programming skills then simply recording steps).

With in Corel Draw there is a lot of work we can do through macro like Converting all text into any file into curves, editing powerclips without entering into the powerclip region, placing the bleed area or the cutting mark or several other works, for which macros are available for download below i am giving a lot of macro details and their download links so that you can find CorelDraw a more friendly than ever…..

1. Recent File : This macro can be used as a substitute for the default open window in the CorelDraw as it can have thumbnail history of thousands of files opened so far. See the picture below….

2. Status Bar Dpi of Bitmap info for Corel x4 users : As for users who shift from the previous versions of CorelDraw x4 they must have found that while working with bitmap images in X4 version the resolution dpi of images has vanished making it very uncomfortable to find the current dpi of the image, whether it is light or heavy but using this macro place a small dockable window displaying the current dpi of the image. See picture below……..
