The Microsoft has recently released a new update for its Internet explorer user version 5 or up as a new flaw which was accidentally made public a by Chinese internet security agency on the previous week. Microsoft has its scheduled update to be released on January 13 bet seeing the number of attacks is increasing very rapidly it was forced to released it soon. It was seen that flaw which lies in Internet Explorer data binding function used by several attackers in china to steal the online gaming credentials. Till now China’s Verisign’s iDefence has been found the six varients of the attacking software. When attacking its makes the browser to crash and suspending the computer memory and allowing bug maker to run unathorizing software. This virus code can also be send through emails but according to agencies till now no such case has been found yet.

On December 16, 2008 Mozilla firefox has released its last and final update for its Mozilla Firefox 2.0 users and it is now encouraging its users to upgrade to vr. 3.0. In this update it has fixed the basic security issues. In which the main flaws fixed is the stealing of information through XBL bindings.

Along with this releases it has also released updates for its Firefox 3.05 user and repairs several stability problems and added some extra language support and has improved installation process. It was also said that it has also strengthens the firefox crash reporter tool in this release.

What Firefox says about the phisihing protection is that for this feature anyone using Firefox 2.0 must install the vr 3.0 as it will not included in the vr. 2 and even in future there is not a plan to do so as it’s last update has been relesed.
