Are you planning to buy a Bluetooth? Then let it be clear to you that there is lot of brands, manufacturer’s offering you different designs with different features and all of these are available on a wide range of prices, and every device call quality also vary from each other. The technology which is used to connect these two devices is called bluetooth through a process named pairing. This technology uses a low frequency radio waves of 2.4 Ghz to connect between the devices. But you should know that to use a bluetooth device both phone and the headset must be Bluetooth enabled.
A blutooth headset make your hands free and it has now become a liberty sign to use a hands free set. A blutooth device when paired between compitable devices makes you able to receive or call anyone without having to hold phone in your hand. To start pairing, make sure your mobile deivice is bluetooth enabled(as i said earlier) and the bluetooth headset is turned on and in pairing mode. Your mobile phone will then automatically search and locate the headset. But before the device get connect it will depend on the bluetooth version of both the devices and there may be a need to enter a pin no. into the mobile phone this will make mobile phone to recognize the headset.

As for today the most currebt version is Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR (Enahce dara rate) facility. But still now there is very small number of device which support this spec even it has more than a year since its final release but you don’t have to worry if any of your device are of different version as every new version released are backward compatiable means the feature and function which are available in the lower version will be supported by the both devices but for the enhancement or for new features both devices should have to the same version.
The most used version for bluetooth device is its 2.0 and the major difference with 2.1 is that in version 2.1 you don’t need to enter the pin number to your mobile it automatically detected by the devices and pairing is very fast while in version 2.0 it is multi step procedure.
Tips before buying
1. Ear hook or earbud? Are you using sun glasses then it will be definatly a choice for a earbud or it is very hard to know which one make you comfortable. Ask for freinds or someone who is already using it.
2. Always look for a headset which can minimize the noise of sorounding sound unless it will be very dificult to use it on a public places like in a public tranport or in noisy area.
3. Consider it’s look and color as it will become a part of your face when you use it like sunglasses (as it will play major your personality)
4. Always check for the compitabilty as it will be of no use when both of your device mismatched.
5. Before buying always tries to get a feedback from the friends or person who is using it. Consider their views or complaint about the devices.
