Thumbnail View of Adobe Illustrator is missing in explorer .. here is solution
As i have already posted a blog about the reason behind the thumbnail view of Photoshop CS3 files missing in Windows Explorer (For full explanation click the below link given) I have came in knowledge it was also the same thing with Adobe Illustrator files and its EPS file format or somehow it is missing. With a lot of searching and experimenting it was also found that for Illustrator also a dll file and its registry settings missing which makes its live preview in Windows Explorer with a blank one. If you are also facing the same problem pleaze download the from the link given below and copy the dll files in the windows program files folder where you will find common files/Adobe/Shell/(if any case you don’t fnd the folder plz create one) and after that run the registry file provided. You will again find the thumbnail preview of Adobe Illustrator in Windows Explorer.
This is also very effective even if you don’t have Illustrator or Photoshop installed. It means even if don’t want to install these heavy softwares you can still be able to see their preview.
