The official verdict  of Miss World 2008 has been released  on Saturday and  Miss Russia Ksenia Sukhinova won the Miss World Crown and Miss India Parvathy Omanakuttan being the First runner up while Miss Trinidad gets the second runner up.

In this event hosted by South Africa more than 100 international beauties participated and for the final event it was supposed that more than One billion tv also enjoyed it on their television  sets.

This was this event was more hitech as this has a facility for viewers of world wide to vote their favorites contestants to be selected for the semifinals.  In which 11 participants comes through this voting system while Miss Barbados, Miss Mexico, Miss Russia and Miss Iceland have already secured spots by winning special competitions in the run-up to the big show.
