Once again Microsoft  has tried to move towards a positive thing with its  Serivce pack 2 release for windows vista. And what it says about it ” It has a better efficiency in terms of its new added “The service pack cleanup tool” and  more efficient side bar”.

If we talk about the speed in comparison with Vista SP1 there is a negligible difference and even you can not feel the difference, but for the hard disk space its certainly cleans up the old versions of files. As i have read many reviews about its cleanup tool they all said it as a very nice feature added into Vista SP2 beta. Service Pack Cleanup Tool, also known as compcln.exe is very effective on cleaning files as some reviews says that it can free up to 6gb of harddisk space.

And as for the sidebar they also have the very good performance and it is quite  using a bit of more memory but it is merely negligible and it also depend on what gadget we are supposed to use.
