Session Managenet Subsystem (Smss.exe) - Generally a trojan version making system unsatble

As many of computer user does not when he is even not running any application there are a lot of programs and application running in the background. yhat can be easily found by pressing Ctrl+alt+del, this will bring the windows task manager in which under the process tab you can easily a lot pf process being running. Some of them are really very important but a lot of them are just only using system ram.

In the same list you can sometimes find a process looking like smss.exe which is generally recognised as user’s setting and session and it is responsible for  the task like Winlogon, Win32 process ans setting the system variables. On first notice it is not very harmless as it may be used by the system for user’s settings. But sometimes when  the system stop responding or it hangs was mostly because of this smss.exe process and there if you find everytime you restarts your computer smss.exe is using a lot of memory then it may have been infected by the malware the trojan version. It is always loacted in windows system32 folder and if in any case it was found in any other directory it is probably a malware.

Loke many trojan it also steals information from your computer and yopu should always be update with your current virus defination as most antivirus programs like Norton, Macaffee or many free version capable of handling this type of sitatuation.
