WHAT:
With its hot swap technology the EzCopy DD4 now has available 3.5\” and 2.5\” caddies allowing any IDE or SATA drives be attached to the EzCopy DD4 and making possible the creation of an exact copy of an IDE drive to a SATA or SATA to IDE.
WHY:
By popular demand, the caddies have been designed to easily copy SATA drives to IDE and IDE to SATA. The EzCopy DD4 is small, fast and easy to use. It requires no connection to a computer so it doesn’t tie up computer resources. It provides an exact image of the source disk with the touch of a button. An easy to read LCD makes its front panel operation a snap. Just insert the caddies, press the button and leave it to copy your precious data.

he DD4 MicroRaid was designed specifically for small footprint computer systems, such as point of sale (POS), small form factor (SFF) or wherever space is at a premium. The MicroRaid packs two 2.5” SATA drives plus a SATA RAID1 hardware mirroring controller into a single unit that will fit perfectly into any 3.5\” drive bay.
Every time you save data to your drive, the MicroRaid will automatically send the information to both drives, so you always have an exact duplicate of your drive. In case of a drive failure, the other drive will take over automatically without downtime.
