The Indian Goverment owned mobile sector company BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has recently launched its new broadband service WI-Max in Delhi NCR region to tackle the harsh competition between the Telcom Sector Companies. With the service launched now subscribers from BSNL can enjoy the service benefits like Video Telephony,TV on mobile, video-conferencing, tele-medicine and e-learning.
At this point Pilot described this service as an improvement of quality offered by the telecom and at same time as we saw the downtime of towers in the NCR region he assured that it will soon be sorted. BSNL at present have some 75,000 subscribers in noida circle and some 25000 subscribers are owned by the MTNL in Delhi region and this is what government expects to have more than 40000 mobile subscribers in the next year.
